I went Carne Mare with my husband for our Anniversary. All the staffs are extremely friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Just one thing my husband and I agreed on was, the steak plate was little cold. It was warm, not hot. So whoever going to order a steak, I would recommend order the steak cook more than Medium with small portions. Overall, it was joyful experience! ++++ we went again for Mother’s Day and this time the stake plate was HOT!!! I felt they care about the customers feedback. Carne Mare conquered the beyond expectations!
This place did not disappoint by any means! we ordered a ribeye steak, Caesar salad, potatoes, brussels sprouts, Bolognese rigatoni, and, of course, the complementary bread. All of the dishes were to die for (with the exception of the Caesar salad tbh) and I felt like I just couldn’t get enough of everything. The staff were all very helpful and knew everything about the menu inside and out which made it super easy to decide what we want to order. I’ll definitely be coming back here when I’m in town.
We had a luncheon there after my son's wedding and the service was impeccable. We had mozzarella sticks with caviar as one of our appetizers along with oysters and other delicious options. We ordered off of the menu from steak, to chicken to fish. Everyone was very happy with their choices.
Such a beautiful, delicious birthday dinner at Carne Mare! They really made it special from beginning to end. Definitely get the oysters and burrata crostini. They are known for their gorgonzola steak and with good reason! It's pricey but very worth it. We enjoyed all of this with a perfect view of the water from the restaurant's second floor. I also want to highlight the impeccable service; everyone we interacted with was so friendly and professional. This will be one of my go-to special occasion spots going forward!
Came here for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. Reservations are needed (not sure about bar seating). The decor and ambiance of the place is very romantic. Definitely a high end restaurant so be prepared to spend money. Our waitress was amazing, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. All her recommendations were a hit. We had mozzarella sticks with caviar, garlic bread (complimentary), 12 oz wagyu steak, and their lobster spaghetti - all were amazing! To top it off, we had their 17 layered chocolate cake (yes, 17 layers). It's hands down the best chocolate cake I've ever had in my life. 10/10 - highly recommended!
Wonderful lunch. I had prime rib sandwich and calamari with cold lager. It was such a pleasant lunch on a hot day in New York.

Went for my daughter's birthday with the family and had the most pleasant time from the kind staff to amazing meals and desserts. Very pleased with a neighborhood family restaurant ????.
I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, particularly the wagyu steak, which was cooked to perfection and exceeded all my expectations. The oysters were also fresh and delicious, adding a great start to the meal. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed and making the evening even more enjoyable. first things first - get the Granita cocktail. you will thank me! I had a very lovely lunch here. the restaurant is beautiful, the view outside of the seaport is beautiful. the food was very good, but i'm giving four stars because it wasn't "wow". that said, it is a solid spot and i'd definitely return.
